In 2023, I arrived in Northern Ireland knowing no one. Just a belief that small business owners needed something more than another course, another how-to guide, or another motivational webinar.

So I started small.

I turned up at networking events. Had coffee with members of the community. And as the conversations grew, so did the realisation that many of us were dealing with the same challenge: We’re so busy working in the business, we rarely find space to work on it.

That insight led me to quietly host a few peer-to-peer mentoring sessions. No branding, no business structure, no big promises. Just real talk, shared challenges, and honest reflection between a small group of business owners over coffee.

What came out of those sessions was powerful:
